Hi, welcome here. I’m Fiona, and I would introduce myself as one thing, except I have trouble picking just one! So, this blog is about finding tips in living while wearing many hats.
As a mom of two boys, I am constantly on the move. I need to find the next thing to entertain, educate, and spark curiosity in these little guys. They are full of wonder and there is so much for them to learn and discover. If I figure out anything about this journey, I’ll share my thoughts here.
As a teacher of Grade 7, I’m also constantly on the move! Weird, right? But middle-schoolers have their own excitement and curiosities, and it’s my job to stay one step ahead of them! It’s a lot of fun, and I try to stay ahead of the curve by being innovative about sparking their interests. Stay here to find out ways that I use stories, games, and challenges to build their curiosity and make them learn in spite of themselves. (psst….I’ll post resources as well!)
As a voracious reader, and I mean, seriously, do not stand between me and my books, I love sharing what I’ve been reading. I will post book reviews and hope that I get comments from you with further recommendations.
Finally, I am working towards my Masters of Education degree, meaning that I have bitten off more than I can chew am very busy, and hopefully I can provide tips on how I keep it all going.
This is a new blog, so joining me now means joining me on a journey that I am very excited about. I’ll share any tips and tidbits that I pick up on the journey, and hopefully help a few folks on the way.
